As I take on the summer and my beach volleyball career, I am also taking on another big obstacle: the environment and what we as its inhabitants can do about slowing global warming. I will be wearing temporary tattoos during my volleyball tournaments to suggest where the sea level may be in 10, 20, 50 years. It is important for the fans of beach volleyball to realize that if we don't start making small changes in our lives, we will no longer have a beach to play on. I want to make it a fun conversation to have with kids and a positive message to give to adults. Please email me if you are interested in helping out in any way.
Who am I?
This is a question I have pondered many times and regardless of what stage of my life I happen upon this ponderance, I believe in 5 things:
People are awesome. No matter what shape or color, we can all smile, laugh and acknowledge each other.
Dogs are awesome too...well, any pets, actually, can bring true joy to your life.
I am a lover of the passionate lifestyle. I vow to live my life as a journey. I am continuously shaping into an ever evolving me and sponging up all the good stuff along the way.
I love me some Earth. It provides me with life. Respect your mother Earth.
Food brings people together.
