Hey gang.
Soon there will be an announcement of a project I've been working on that will help kids team with their parents to save energy and learn that it isn't hard. It works pretty well when you talk to people face to face, but I'm going to need you help getting online version working. Stay tuned and I look forward to your feedback and ideas so I can get it working.
You may have noticed that the postings have dropped off recently. There is a great saying "luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." I need to focus on volleyball right now to prepare for some great opportunities and need to be away from regular posting for awhile Add that to some other projects and trying to earn a living and I just ran out of time to do a good job. I'll be back, but for the next few months I'm asking some people to guest post. In the meantime remember that you have to work hard and stay positive about anything that is important to you.
Stay in touch and send your suggestions and ideas!
Colleen

go for your dreams, Colleen!

I do not wish to be the bearer of bad news, but all your efforts will be in vain if you do not grasp one simple concept. The reason that underlies the destruction of the earth's natural systems is human overpopulation which is consuming many of the earth's natural resources. If you were given extraterrestrial technology that could pull carbon out of the air and fuse it in to carbon fiber blocks, offsetting setting all carbon humanity emits, the crisis would not end. The problem is that our economic system is built on the premise of endless economic growth. For more information I suggest you read Tom Flynn's op-ed Beyond Ponzi Economics in the 2007 December-January issue of Free Inquiry magazine. A second suggestion. Do research on the East India Company and Wall-Mart. knowing this history will likely lead you to see how for profit corporations are driving overpopulation, consumerism &greed.
