Hi Colleen, I just stumbled on to your blog and couldn't help but see the similarity in our journey. I was an unhappy engineer (and former artist) who saw culinary school as a new direction and also dreamt of traveling the world. I set out to So Cal to realize that dream and found that engineering could actually be fun. From there, I landed a job traveling the world supporting a product that combined both art and technical ability. Awesome time of my life. I think culinary school would have gotten me there as well, albeit few years later. I have no doubt that you'll find your niche and hope you'll thoroughly enjoy it when you do.
